Six Months of Change at Moove(hub): A Quick Update

It has been a busy first half of the year at Moove, and we wanted to take a moment to bring landlords, tenants, and everyone watching the lettings market up to speed. Between a refreshed brand, a major shift in lettings law, and some behind the scenes improvements, there is a lot to share.

A New Look: Welcome to moovehub.co.uk

You may have noticed our website address has changed. We now operate as Moovehub, prompted by a trademark issue, but we have taken the opportunity to refresh our content and make the site easier to navigate while we were at it. Plus, we think of ourselves as a hub for all things property!

The Renters' Rights Act: Now in Force

The single biggest change in the lettings world this year has been the Renters' Rights Act 2025, which came into force on 1st May 2026. This is the most significant shake up to tenancy law in a generation, and we have spent much of the last six months making sure Moovehub landlords and tenants are ready for it.

That has meant:

• Rolling out new Assured Periodic Tenancy agreements in line with the abolition of fixed terms
• Introducing formal internal policies and procedures to ensure we keep our landlords compliant

Compliance has always been at the heart of how we operate, and we wanted our landlords to feel confident they were ahead of the curve rather than catching up after the fact.

Tightening Up Behind the Scenes

We have also spent time tightening up a lot of the everyday processes that landlords and tenants rely on day to day. It is not always the most visible work, but it makes a real difference, and it is something we will keep chipping away at as the business grows.

A Growing Team

Behind the scenes, we have been growing. Our contact centre team has expanded, and we have brought on additional support to keep response times quick and service personal, even as the business grows. If you have called or emailed us recently, there is a good chance you have spoken to one of our newer team members.

What's Next

We are continuing to invest in making the experience of selling, letting, or renting a home through Moove simpler and more transparent, from the way we present listings to the support we offer once a tenancy is up and running. As always, our flat fee promise has not changed: clear pricing, no hidden surprises, and a team that is genuinely easy to reach.
